Superintendent Page

Since his hiring in February of 2022, Mr. Rizzo is proud and honored to serve as the Acting Superintendent in the Williams Valley School District.

Mr. Rizzo takes pride in his background, growing up in the coal region, and graduating from North Schuylkill School District.   He attended Lebanon Valley College where he majored in History and was a member of the men’s basketball team.  He earned a Master’s degree from Alvernia University in Educational Leadership and his Superintendent Eligibility Certificate from California University.

Mr. Rizzo will be entering the 2022-23 school year having served in public education for 16 years.   Prior to coming to WVSD, he served as elementary principal in the Northern Lebanon School District for 7 years.   His administrative experience started at the IU29 as an assistant principal and he was formerly a high school Social Studies teacher at North Schuylkill. 

Mr. Rizzo resides in Pine Grove with his wife Allison and their four children: Christian, Gabriel, Luca, and Enzo.  He is active in coaching his sons and serves on multiple youth sports boards.
