Student Steps for Online Learning Success
1. Mark yourself present in google homeroom each day (code: pbxvaib to join), comment on your check-in if you’d like to drop Mrs. Duey a note!
2. Check your school email and Skyward messages.
3. Check in to each of your classes every weekday (M-F). Follow your daily schedule as if you are in school so you do not miss a class.
4. Be sure to check Edgenuity and Google Classrooms if you have teachers that use both.
5. Remember-Reach out to teachers with questions or concerns early and often, attend any scheduled Google Meets, sign up for a guidance counselor session (email sclough@wvschools.net or jcecco@wvschools.net) if you need someone to talk to, email the Technology Department (WVSDMail@wvschools.net) if you are having technology issues.

Google Drive Enrichment and Review
As a reminder enrichment and review materials for students may be found on the WVSD Google drive.  The URL to reach the Google DRIVE is www.tinyurl.com/WVEnrichmentReview.  Students will NOT find assignments on their Google Classrooms.  As a reminder, each district must create a Continuity of Education Plan consisting of either planned instruction and/or enrichment and review.  The WVSD plan at this point in time promotes student engagement with enrichment and review activities which are strongly encouraged, but will not be graded based on current guidance. The work is not required and does not determine whether or not students pass. It is intended to keep students up to date on materials they have already learned. Information on end of year grades, promotion/retention, and graduation will be released by the school district as more guidance is provided.  Thank you for your patience and continued support.
Senior Update - March 31, 2020
Hello Seniors: We know that these are unprecedented times right now and we are sure you have plenty of questions in regards to graduation and the normal end of year activities. We understand and we sympathize with you in these uncertain times. Please be assured that we, along with Dr. Best and Mrs. Duey, are working to find solutions that will bring you as much normalcy in these end of year activities, while at the same time ensuring the safety of you, your families, the community, and your faculty and staff. Please know that we will ALWAYS have your best interests in mind when making decisions about graduation and know that any choices that will be made will be in compliance with all legal regulations put forth by the Governor and the President. We request that you continue to social distance yourself from others in order to stay safe and to keep your families safe. We will continue to update you on any decisions that are being made. I know you would like answers right now, however, no decisions can be made at this time, due to the uncertainty of what the Governor will decide for our state, once the next 30 days of social distancing has passed. Please continue to monitor your "Seniors" Google Classroom class over the next month for any updates. Stay safe, sanitize, and make wise decisions. Your Advisors, Mrs. Carroll & Ms. Oestreich
