Description
Williams Valley School District is seeking a dependable, student-centered Long-Term Substitute Teacher to join our secondary faculty. The successful candidate will support student learning by monitoring progress in online high school foreign language courses, supervising study halls, and assisting with other instructional and supervisory responsibilities as assigned. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to build positive relationships with students, and a commitment to maintaining a productive learning environment.
Pennsylvania teaching certification preferred; candidates holding any valid Pennsylvania Instructional I or II certificate are encouraged to apply.
Secondary (7–12) certification is preferred; however, applicants with other Pennsylvania instructional certifications will be considered.
Candidates eligible to serve as a day-to-day substitute or emergency-certified teacher may also be considered.
Strong classroom management, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to effectively use educational technology and monitor student progress in online learning platforms.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with students and staff.
