Positive COVID case

Today, September, 23, 2021, the district office was notified of a confirmed positive COVID case impacting the junior/senior high school. PA Department of Health (DOH) was contacted and contact tracing occurred. This resulted in the quarantine of 3 junior/senior high school students/staff members.

SPECIAL MEETING

The Williams Valley School District’s public Board of Education will hold public interviews for the following vacant seats:

• Area VIII (Reinerton, Muir, and Mountain) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 in the Jr.-Sr. High School Auditorium.

• Area IV (Williamstown Boro, 2nd Precinct) at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 in the Jr.-Sr. High School Auditorium.

2021-2022 School Calendar Revision

Williams Valley Families,
At the August 26 Williams Valley School District Board of Directors’ meeting, the 2021-2022 school calendar was revised as follows:

September 17, 2021 is a regular school day.
September 24, 2021 is now an Act 80/In-Service day for teachers only.

September 23, 2021 meeting location changes

• Public Budget meeting will be held in the Gymnasium at the Elementary School at 6:00 p.m.

• Public Board meeting will be held in the Gymnasium at the Elementary School at 7:30 p.m.

Jr/Sr High Picture Retake Day

Make-Up Picture Day for WV Jr/Sr High School is scheduled for November 4th.  Picture packets are available in the HS office.  Thank you.

WV Elementary Picture Day

Picture Day for WV Elementary is scheduled for Thursday, September 23rd.  Picture packets were handed out to students, and packets are available in the Elementary Office. Thank you.

Positive COVID Case

Williams Valley Families,

9/20/2021 the district office was notified of a confirmed positive COVID case impacting the Elementary school.  PA Department of Health (DOH) was contacted, contact tracing occurred, and no one needed to quarantine due to the wearing of facial coverings.
