WV to Comply with Mask Mandate

Williams Valley Families,
On Tuesday, August 31, 2021, Pennsylvania’s Acting Secretary of Health signed an order requiring face coverings to be worn in all school entities, including school districts, brick and mortar and cyber charter schools, private and parochial schools, career and technical centers, intermediate units, and early learning and other childcare settings. Effective Tuesday, September 7, 2021,   Williams Valley School District will adhere to this mandate.
Please know there is a benefit of wearing masks.  At this time, contact tracing will still need to be conducted, but if masks are worn correctly when around a positive case, a contact will not need to quarantine allowing for more in-person learning opportunities.
