Wellness Policy & Report
Williams Valley School District Wellness Program
The Williams Valley School District is committed to fostering a school environment that supports student wellness, proper nutrition, and physical activity as integral parts of the learning experience. We believe that promoting healthy habits improves physical well-being, enhances growth and development, and strengthens readiness to learn.
Our Wellness Committee plays a vital role in ensuring the district meets federal and state wellness regulations and implements initiatives to enhance student and community health. The committee includes stakeholders such as district administrators, food service representatives, school health professionals, physical education teachers, students, parents/guardians, school board members, and community members.
